The AC SMART is equipped with a status LED, which is located in the housing cover. The colour and flash pattern of the LED indicate the operational status of the EV charging box. In addition, the status LED can be switched off using the LED inactivity function if the status of the charging box does not change during a defined period of time, for example during the charging process. Once the status of the EV charging box changes, the status LED is active once again and the timer is reset. Below you will find an overview of the meaning of the LED behaviour as well as step-by-step instructions for setting the LED brightness and LED inactivity.
The colour and flashing behaviour of the LED indicate the operating status of the AC SMART.
If the status LED lights up green, this means that the AC SMART is switched on and ready for operation. You can now connect your electric vehicle to the AC SMART.
When the AC SMART has recognized a connection to a vehicle and is ready for charging, the status LED lights up blue. As soon as the charging process has started, the status LED pulsates in blue.

If the AC SMART detects a fault, the charging process ends, and the status LED lights up red. If the AC SMART is connected to the AC SMART app or can be accessed via the web server, you will find detailed fault descriptions and troubleshooting measures in the AC SMART app and in the web server. In the menu item Config under General, you will find the settings for the brightness of the status LED. In the LED brightness [%] field, you can set a value for the brightness of the LED. Confirm your entry with Save.
In the menu item Config under General, you will find the settings for the LED inactivity function. Activate the LED inactivity option and specify the time after which the status LED should be switched off if the status of the AC SMART does not change. Confirm your entry with Save.
