Connect the AC SMART to a WLAN network

The AC SMART offers two options for establishing a connection to a WLAN network. You can connect the AC SMART to a WLAN network by searching for existing WLAN networks via the web server or by manually entering a known WLAN network. Below you will find detailed information on the steps you need to take to connect your AC SMART to a WLAN network.

Searching for WLAN networks

Open the web server of your AC SMART and log in as Admin (see chapter 9.3 of the operating instructions). In the menu item Network under WiFi ,you will find all the settings you need to make to connect the AC SMART to a WLAN network.

Under WiFi-search click Start to automatically search for available networks. All networks found are then displayed in the drop-down menu. Select your network from the drop-down menu and click Select.

Once you have selected your network in the drop-down menu, it will be displayed in the SSID field under Settings. Enter the password for your network in the Password field and confirm your entry with Settings.

Connect the AC SMART to your network by clicking on Connect. You can then refresh the web server page by clicking on Refresh.

Entering the WLAN network manually

If you want to enter your WiFi network manually, you will also find the corresponding settings in the menu item Network under WiFi. Enter the SSID and password f your WiFi network here under Settings. Confirm your entry with Save.

Connect the AC SMART to the WLAN network by clicking on Connect and refresh the web server page by clicking on Refresh. The newly assigned IP address is then displayed in the IP address field. You can access the web server of the EV charging box using this IP address in your WLAN network.
