Restarting the EV charging box

AC HOME

  • To restart the AC HOME EV charging box, press the switch on the right side of the housing.
  • The LEDs will go out.
  • Wait approx. 10 seconds for the power supply to discharge fully.
  • Press the switch once again.
  • The EV charging box will conduct a self test, and the LEDs will flash green during this time.

Alternatively, you can complete the restart by switching off the circuit breaker or residual current circuit breaker and switching it on again after waiting at least 30 seconds.

AC BUSINESS

You can complete the restart by switching off the circuit breaker or residual current circuit breaker and switching it on again after waiting at least 30 seconds. The waiting time is required for the capacitors to discharge fully.

To correct an error, however, it is better to reset the charging controller. You must open the EV charging box to do so.

Risk to life due to electric shock

There is a risk of electric shock when working on the electrical installation of the EV charging box. All work which requires the EV charging box to be opened may be carried out only by an electrician.

  • Remove the 2 attachment screws (TX25) on each side of the housing.
  • Pull the exterior housing cover off to the front side.

  • Open the interior housing door with an electrical cabinet key.

The Reset button is on the bottom right of the charging controller beside the LEDs under the DIP switch.

  • Press and hold the button for 2 seconds, but not longer.
  • NOTE: If you hold the button for longer than 5 seconds, a factory reset will be carried out and all settings will be deleted.
  • The EV charging box will conduct a self test, and the LEDs will flash green during this time.
  • Close the interior housing once again using the electrical cabinet key.
  • Replace the exterior housing cover and screw it in with all 4 screws.

AC SMART

To restart an AC SMART EV charging box, turn off the circuit breaker or residual current circuit breaker and switch it back on after waiting at least 30 seconds.

The EV charging box will conduct a self test, and the LEDs will flash green during this time.
