The VARITECTOR PU AC BS60 protects electronic components and devices in larger distribution cabinets and is snapped tool-free onto the 60 mm busbar systems. The components are available as a leakage current-free variant or as a variant with an integrated fuse.
The V-ZPA Fuse Holder S fuse module is used in meter cabinets. It enables the power supply of intelligent measuring systems and complies with the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4100. Two fused voltage taps from the grid-side connection compartment (NAR) directly supply the metering device and the smart meter gateway in new installations and retrofits.
The new monobloc components of the VARITECTOR PU PV series are designed to protect PV applications with generator voltages from 600 V up to 1,500 V. They comply with latest EN standards for global use. They also combine reliable surge protection with future-proof performance - a must to maximise system uptime and profitability.
The proven surge protection devices of the VPU series type I with 25 kA are also available in versions with integrated back-up fuse. This eliminates the need for an additional back-up fuse upstream of the SPD. Application-specific product configurations are available for the different network types.

Surge protection is a mandatory component in all commercial and private real estate according to DIN VDE 0100-443 und -534. The space-saving installation on the 40 mm rail system guarantees the best protection with the smallest space requirement.
The type I arrester (lightning arrester) is used for personal protection and the protection of electrical installations and systems in the event of direct or nearby lightning strikes.
The type II arrester (surge arrester) protects the electrical equipment and systems from overvoltages caused by remote lightning strikes and switching operations.
Type III arresters (end-device surge protection) reduce surge voltages to a voltage level that is safe for the electrical end-device and are installed directly in front of the end-device to be protected.
