Our revised two-pole voltage testers are now available in six variants. The two top-of-the-range variants, Digi-Check Pro and Combi-Check Pro, set standards with respect to their range of functions. The other four versions – Digi-Check, Multi-Check, Combi-Check and Master-Check – focus more on specific functional highlights and each offer outstanding value for money.
The voltage testers offer a wide variety of testing options with voltage and continuity indicated visually and/or acoustically. The highly-valued buzzer function is now available once again on the 15mm probe versions, facilitating usage and handling by emitting an acoustic signal. Indeed, for continuity and voltage testing, the Combi-Check, Combi-Check Pro, Digi-Check and Digi-Check Pro 15mm probe variants incorporate both a visual display and an acoustic signal (buzzer), while the two Multi-Check and Master-Check variants just have a visual display.
Special attention has been placed on extended battery life. A built-in light sensor detects the ambient lighting and only activates the LCD backlight in dark surroundings to preserve the battery. A large, digital LC display featuring a bar chart makes for easy reading. The HOLD function, meanwhile, retains the measured values on the display screen.
The battery compartment has also been improved. It is now easier to remove and can only be inserted one way, thus preventing users from accidentally inserting it back-to-front. A battery compartment opener offers easier access to the battery compartments on all the testers; the tool is an integral, non-detachable part of the test probe cover. Labelling is yet another option. Snap-in markers can be personalised with a name, inventory number or other useful information.
The requirements set out in the standards for safety class and surge voltage category aren't just met, they are exceeded. This means that all of the two-pole voltage testers are rated to protection class IP65, making them suitable for use in harsh environments. And thanks to their wide measurement range from 0.3 V to 690 V, the voltage testers can be used for all purposes. All of the two-pole voltage testers automatically detect the voltage type (AC/DC) and indicate polarity. High input resistance provides reliable protection against contact.
Our testers fall under surge voltage category CAT IV – 600 V. This means that they are suitable for both for measuring circuits that are electrically connected to a low voltage system and for performing measurements in building installations. The new voltage testers are also resistant to temperatures from -15°C to +45°C.
