These are the ambitious targets Weidmüller has defined for its role as leading provider of solutions for electrical connectivity, transmission, conditioning and processing of power, signal and data.

We have therefore implemented a business unit structure that is based on customer proximity, that derives its innovations from the market and that reflects the interaction between power, signal and data in industrial environments.

The Electrical Connectivity Business Unit focuses on switching cabinets and field wiring, in other words: the passive network infrastructure for power, signal and data.

The Device Connectivity Business Unit provides single-wire components for the connection of power and signal applications to automation devices in the switching cabinet as well as matching enclosure systems as a packaging for functional electronics.

The Electronics Business Unit targets the intelligent conditioning or the processing of signals and data within the network infrastructure and provides the active components for data networks.

The Application Specific Solutions Business Unit develops innovative and market-driven application solutions, precisely tailored to the customers’ requirements. On the basis of Weidmüller components the goods and services offered range from customised assemblies via market-oriented products and solutions to the new development of complex product solutions in co-operation with the customer.
