Weidmuller sponsors James Dixon in Clio Cup Title Challenge

We are really excited to announce our continued sponsorship of James Dixon, in his endeavours to triumph at the ELF Renault Clio Cup Championship this year.

The Clio Cup is the feeder category for the British Touring Car Championship and James is in with a great chance to make the step-up to the BTCC in 12 months’ time if he does well. Having claimed sixth place in the drivers’ standings in his maiden season, the 20-year-old is now among the favourites to win the championship this time around. Born in Margate, he signed off last season with two wins from pole position at his home track, Brands Hatch, where the 2011 season begins on 2nd April. To see more information click here.
