M-Print® PRO - Backup data

Backup your personal catalogue:

• Before the installation:
  1. Open Windows Explorer and select the installation folder of M-Print® PRO
  (Default: C:\Program Files\Weidmueller\mprintpro\)
  2. Select the sub-folder Configs
  3. Copy the file ‘my_cat.mca’ (copy/paste)
  4. Install the actual software version of M-Print® PRO

• Re-creating the personal catalogue:
  1. Open the installation folder of the new version of M-Print® PRO
  2. Select the sub-folder Configs
  3. Rename the current file ‘my_cat.mca’, for example ‘my_cat.mca.old’
  4. Copy the file saved in step 3 into the selected directory
  5. Rename this file my_cat.mca

Backup your projects:

• Before the installation:
  1. Open Windows Explorer and select the installation folder of M-Print® PRO(default: C:\Program Files\Weidmueller\mprintpro\)
  2. Copy the folder 'Data' (copy/paste)
  3. Install the actual software version of M-Print® PRO
  
• Restore the projects
  1. Open the installation folder of the new version of M-Print® PRO
  2. Copy the folder saved in step 2 into the selected directory
