Weidmüller's IE-WLAN-BRIDGE-WAVE

By introducing the new WLAN-BRIDGE-WAVE Weidmüller is extending its portfolio comprising the WaveLine family of products with a WLAN-Bridge for IE networks. Weidmüller developed the new WaveLine Bridge module so that serial terminal devices can be integrated in existing IE network structures. WaveLine now also allows users to utilise WLAN to connect or extend their industrial network. As is well-known from Weidmüller products their WLAN-Bridges are designed to be robust and meet the demands of industrial applications. Their compact design size for mounting rail solutions is a compelling feature. Supporting wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11 b, 802.11 g) the module IE-WLAN-BRIDGE-WAVE comes with a non-isolated RS232 interface. For user-friendly operation the module can be configured via the serial interface or a web interface – including a password-protected configuration environment. The WLAN-BRIDGE-WAVE boasts an integrated internal web server and has an extensive range of designed-in security mechanisms.
