Functional Electronics

The Business field Functional Electronics develops and provides electronic solutions in IP20 and IP67 for Industrial Automation, Process Control Applications and Power Generation.

Products and solutions of the portfolio Functional Electronics are used for acquisition, conditioning, amplifying, protection, wiring and switching of analogue and digital measured process values as well as for powering electrical devices.

They offer simple technical installation, optimized handling of the electrical connections and a safe power connection. The individual modules of the Functional Electronics business unit range are also ideally suited to rough industrial environments. They are designed to withstand extremely high temperatures and are particularly resistant to electromagnetic interference radiation.

The Functional Electronics Division also offers signal lines with customised functions and cross sections between the PLC and the field level, plus the distribution, monitoring and protection of fieldbus lines.

Its product range therefore covers the whole spectrum of industrial power, signal and data conditioning applications.
