Based in Cologne, Germany's Professional Association of Sales Promoters and Trainers presented this year's winners of the Sales Promotion Award at the industry's trade show in Mainz on 21st June, 2007. Weidmüller,  together with the assigned IT company conLeos from Braunschweig, were the chosen winners of the prize awarded for the first time in the category 'New Media'. The'Weidmüller Galaxy' software that picked up the award is an intelligent marketing solution that both generates clear added value for the customer and significant benefit for the manufacturer.

Evaluation of 50 concepts by Marketing experts

Based on the criteria originality, consistency and measurable sales success, an independent jury had to select the winner from 50 concepts entered for the 17th German Sales Promotion Award. The independent specialist jury composed of marketing directors from big companies and heads of wellknown advertising agencies also took into account the scale and quality of accompanying advertising campaign activities such as the communicated philosophy of the concept, staff training and market positioning of the products. Weidmüller's software "Galaxy" won the Bronze Award in the category New Media; gold and silver prizes were not awarded in this category.
