Weidmüller proudly offers its redesigned cutting tools KT 45R, KT 55 and KT 80 for precision cutting of cables with large outer diameters of 45, 50 and 80 mm.

Compact in size, the cutting tools KT 45R and KT 55 have a uniform and characteristic design. The black/orange coloured handles have a new ergonomically improved shape. That allows the users to achieve a better cutting performance with less physical effort.

The striking form of the tool's blades makes it possible to achieve an oblique drawing cut which provides a smooth and straight cutting result without distorting the conductor. Thanks to this special blade form it is now possible to construct smaller, but more easy-to-handle tools for cutting larger cross-sections.

The KT 45R and KT 55 are equipped with a mechanical ratchet drive and can be operated using just one hand. The KT 80 makes use of an external eccentric mechanism for optimum leverage, and is operated using two hands.

The cutting tools KT 45R, KT 55 and KT 80 are made of hardened steels and are equipped with an integrated locking mechanism, that can be deactivated in every cutting position.
