Cable entries, for example in housings for heavy-duty connectors, can easily and safely be accomplished.

The instructions for installation in hazardous areas comply with the standards CENELEC EN 50014 – 50018 – 50019

 

• Increased safety in accordance with EN 50019; screwed directly into the housing or utilising lock nut. Unused entries must be sealed with a certified blanking plug.
• Flameproof in accordance with EN 50018; screwed directly into the housing with five complete turns of the thread (approx. 8 mm). Unused entries must be sealed with a certified blanking plug.
